Beijing winter school break: find a trip from Beijing
The Beijing Municipal Education Commission sets the city's school calendar. Primary and lower-secondary (compulsory) schools break from 18 January to 21 February 2027; the non-compulsory stage in ordinary secondary schools and secondary vocational schools (senior high level) from 25 January to 21 February. Universities follow a separate section of the calendar and are not covered. This page covers Beijing only; other Chinese cities publish their own dates. The seven-day example is a small part of a long break.
