Choose Your Group's Travel Destination
Choose a travel destination together. Set up a private group trip, invite the people travelling with you, and see which destinations actually fit everyone.
Before you compare: put every option on the same footing
- Compare whole-trip totals for the same departure city, the same dates, the same number of travellers and the same number of nights. A cheaper flight to a pricier destination can still lead to a more expensive trip.
- Each person answers with their own budget band, so a destination can fit some travellers and not others. That difference is the useful part — it is not a problem to average away.
- A fit score is an estimate of how well an option suits the answers received so far. It is not a vote, not unanimous agreement, and sharing a link does not show that anyone opened it or said yes.
A group trip stays open for 30 days, after which it can no longer be opened. Everyone you invite answers from their own device. Your access key is kept in this browser only — clear its data and you lose access to this trip.
Nobody sees anyone else's answers — not their budget band, destinations or deal-breakers. The shared result does name who a destination does not work for and the kind of reason, for example “Fits 3 of 4 — budget conflict (Lina)”, so the group can talk about it.

How to choose where to travel with friends
Groups usually stall because everyone has a different budget, different priorities and a different idea of a good trip. MTC group travel gives you one place to compare them: everyone answers privately on their own phone, MTC works out which destinations fit the people who answered, and then each traveller picks one from that list so you can see whether you actually agree.
1. Set up the trip
The organizer sets the shared departure city, the travel dates, the currency for budgets and how many people are travelling. Everyone then answers against the same trip.
2. Share one invitation
You share a single invitation link through WhatsApp or any other app. The group trip itself runs on this website — the link just opens it. Each person answers privately: their budget band, what they want most, the destinations they would like and their deal-breakers. The dates, departure city and currency are the shared ones the organizer set.
3. See the group fit
MTC scores every destination for each person separately, then shows what fits everyone who answered — and, when nothing fits everyone, the strongest compromises with the blocking constraint named on each one.
When the options stop changing
While answers are still arriving the options are provisional and can change. They settle when every expected traveller has answered, or when the organizer finishes early with the answers already in. Each traveller can then pick one destination from the list, change it or take it back, and the page shows plainly whether everyone who answered has picked the same one. There are no automated notifications: open the same invitation link again whenever you want to check.
What this is, and what it is not
This helps the group compare destinations and see where they agree. It is not a tour booking, and it does not write a day-by-day itinerary — once you agree on a destination you can plan and book it wherever you prefer.
Common questions
- What if we all have different budgets?
- That is the normal case. Each person picks a budget band, and each destination is checked against that person's own band — budgets are never averaged. Your band stays private; nobody else in the group sees it.
- Does everyone need an account or an app?
- No. There is no account, no app and no email. Each person opens the invitation link in a browser and enters a short display name.
- When are the options final?
- When everyone the organizer expected has answered, or when the organizer finishes early. After that the answers are read-only, and the options stop changing — so each traveller can then pick one destination from the list. Picking a destination is a separate step, and it is only agreement when every traveller who answered has picked the same one.
- How do we share the result?
- Anyone who answered, and the organizer, can create a separate view-only result link. It shows the options and who picked what — never anyone's budget band or individual answers — and whoever opens it cannot join, answer, pick a destination or change anything.
- Can we start another group trip?
- Yes. Start a new group trip whenever you like — for different dates, a different budget or a different set of people. The earlier group trip and its options stay readable until their access window ends.
