Portuguese spring school break: family trips from Porto
Despacho 8368/2024 (Annex II) sets mainland public-school breaks: Christmas 16–31 December 2026, Carnival 8–10 February and spring 22 March – 2 April 2027. Semester-organised schools can vary, and up to two spring days can be relocated, so confirm with your school. Summer lessons end on 4 June for grades 9, 11 and 12, on 11 June for grades 5–8 and 10, and on 30 June for preschool and the first cycle; exam dates are not assumed free. Special education (Annex IV) and the islands differ.
