Calgary Board of Education spring break: family trips
The Calgary Board of Education's standard 2026/27 calendar sets spring break for 20–29 March 2027. Classes end on 18 March and resume on 30 March; 19 March is a non-instructional (PD) day, so students are free from 19 to 29 March. Winter break runs 19 December 2026 – 3 January 2027 and fall break 11–15 November. Classes end on 25 June, but the Science 30 exam is on 28 June, so a 26 June departure is not assumed to be exam-free. The October PD day is now 19 October, not 23 October. Adapted calendars and Catholic or private schools differ.
