Holiday breaks
Montreal spring break for CSSDM schools: family trips
The Centre de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) 2026–2027 youth general-education (FGJ) calendar marks 1–5 March 2027 as the semaine de relâche, and a CSSDM school calendar lists the same week. This covers CSSDM FGJ schools only, not all of Montreal or Quebec, and not EMSB, Lester B. Pearson, private, vocational, adult or university calendars. The seven-day example, 1–7 March, is derived: the five official weekdays plus the weekend of 6–7 March. Check your own school and employer.

What to weigh
- English-language boards and private schools in Montreal set their own dates; check each child's school.
- Adults' days off depend on the employer.
- The shortlist is a cost-only illustration ranked on modelled cost; the calendar dates do not become an exact-date airfare search, and it does not filter by flight time, direct service, weather or entry rules. Check those yourself.
- The budget is an editable illustration in local currency for a family of four, not a typical, recommended or guaranteed amount.
