Holiday breaks
Manchester school breaks: family trips from Manchester
Manchester City Council publishes closing and reopening days. The days away from school run from the day after closure to the day before reopening, so a 12 February closure and 22 February reopening leave 13–21 February. The bank holidays on 26 and 29 March are separate from the April break. Voluntary-aided and foundation schools and academies set their own dates, and other Greater Manchester councils differ.
