Gothenburg school breaks: family trips from Gothenburg
Gothenburg's term times cover municipal preschool class, compulsory and adapted compulsory schools only; upper secondary and many independent schools set their own. The sports break is 15–19 February 2027 and Easter 26 March – 2 April. 7 May is a school day off, separate from the 6 May public holiday. Autumn term ends on 18 December and restarts on 11 January, so 19 December – 10 January is a derived window; spring ends on 10 June and autumn starts on 16 August, giving a derived summer of 11 June – 15 August.
