Kenya's Public Holidays Act lists Christmas Day and Boxing Day; in 2026 they fall on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 December. Friday to Sunday, 25–27 December, is a three-day option only if Sunday is also free. No Monday 28 December substitute day and no school break are assumed, and employment rosters can require work.
