Flemish-school carnival break: trips from Brussels
The Flemish government publishes school holidays for Flemish-community nursery, primary and secondary schools. The 2027 carnival break (krokusvakantie) runs from 8 to 14 February. French-community schools, including many in Brussels, follow a different calendar, and universities are not covered. Brussels is used here as the departure city for Flemish-school families; there is no single week for all of Brussels or Belgium.
