What a Tashkent and Samarkand rail week costs

This route budget includes two nights in Tashkent, three in Samarkand and a final night back in Tashkent. It separates hotel stays, rail tickets and station transfers; Bukhara and Khiva are not included.

Scope, dates and party

These are dated ground-cost examples for two adults sharing one room, staying six nights over seven days, 10–16 November 2026. International flights, visas, insurance and shopping are excluded. They are planning examples, not live booking offers or year-round price ranges.

What is specific to this budget

  • Four adult one-way rail tickets cover two travellers out and back; six vehicle transfers link airport, stations and hotels.
  • Hotel tax treatment is uncertain in the research and may overstate the final bill; it is not an exact tax claim.
  • Each hotel tier has two baskets. A and B keep the same hotel, party and dates; they change the food and activity mix. A luxury hotel tier does not imply luxury dining or private transfers.

Practical notes

Hotels cover 10–12 November Tashkent, 12–15 Samarkand and 15–16 Tashkent. Four adult one-way rail tickets cover two travelers on two legs. Price six separate vehicle transfers: two airport and four station connections. One city-transport day in each city is additional; remaining sightseeing is on foot, with no extra attraction tickets implied. The model includes Registan admission only. Choose the station named on the ticket and allow boarding/security time; no fixed train departure is promised.

Limits of these examples

Bounded scope only; does not complete the entire country. Hotel board, bedding and cancellation are not exposed; tax field interpretation is recorded. Numeric traits/month scores are editorial proposals, not survey results, safety ratings or new scoring logic. Rail website access restriction prevented dated seat verification. Public official tariff is used; November inventory and station/time remain unconfirmed. VAT election/inclusion and exact merchant levy handling remain unverified. Explicit replacement model avoids adding a second opaque tax layer but may overstate a VAT-inclusive base. Budget and mid-range share the same Samarkand hotel; Tashkent accommodation differentiates them. These are hotel-led scenarios, not statistical price bands. Sam Zigir restaurant was identified in Qibray and rejected as Samarkand food evidence; only its labeled beverage proxy remains. Platan delivery-menu prices may differ from dine-in service-inclusive bills; no invented service percentage added.
