Choose Da Nang for a beach-and-river city with My Khe on the doorstep; choose Ho Chi Minh City for a dense, busy metropolis of food, markets and history. Both sets use the same dates, party and room basis.

Scope, dates and party

These are dated ground-cost illustrations for two adults sharing one room, six nights over seven days, 19–25 January 2027. Hotel prices are public room-table observations from 2 October 2026, not checkout-reconciled quotes. Flights, visas, insurance and regional trips are excluded. What is specific to this budget

  • Hotel tax: both sets carry a provisional hotel-tax reserve beside the subtotal; in Da Nang the included 5% service is not added again.
  • Breakfast: all three Da Nang hotels include breakfast for two, credited once; check each Ho Chi Minh City example for its own breakfast terms.
  • Meals: Da Nang's restaurant baskets carry a provisional 10% tax cushion because the menu does not state inclusion — it is not a confirmed charge.

Trade-offs

January is a dry-season month in the south, while Da Nang's sea can be rough and swimming is not guaranteed. Hoi An and Ba Na Hills are separate trips not priced here.
