How much does a week in Cebu and Mactan cost?

The examples stay on Mactan Island, in the area around the airport and the resort coast (hotel location varies), and add one guided Cebu City heritage outing and one separate car outing. Bohol, Oslob and Moalboal are not included.

Scope, dates and party

These are dated ground-cost examples for two adults sharing one room, staying six nights over seven days, 10–16 November 2026. International flights, visas, insurance and shopping are excluded. They are planning examples, not live booking offers or year-round price ranges.

What is specific to this budget

  • Transfers and tours were priced on a booking platform that adds a 5% charge; each charge is its own line and is counted once.
  • The budget, mid-range and luxury tiers are led by the hotel: each tier is one named, date-matched hotel, and baskets A and B mainly change the food and activity mix; in some scopes (for example Rio) a basket also swaps transport, such as a private tour replacing bus trips. A higher hotel tier does not imply luxury dining or private transport.
  • What changes the bill most: the hotel you pick, the season and exact dates, and whether you keep to public transport. Party composition and room requirements can change pricing; these examples are for two adults in one room, so a different party needs repricing rather than linear multiplication.

Cebu City or Mactan as a base?

Mactan is usually closer to the airport and has the resort coast, which suits a relaxed week, but transfer time depends on the hotel's location and traffic, and not every hotel is beachfront; Cebu City is better for heritage sites and local food but is a longer, traffic-dependent ride from the airport and has no beach.

These examples price only the Mactan base with day trips into the city. A Cebu City hotel was not priced, so do not read these totals as a city-base budget.

Practical notes

Arrive at CEB on Mactan. The ground basket contains two airport vehicle legs, one guided Cebu heritage outing and one separate three-hour local car outing. The tour already includes its transport, entries and a meal for each adult; those meals are removed from the other food purchases. Most remaining days stay at the resort or nearby. City-food benchmarks can understate resort restaurant spending. Confirm halal preparation with the chosen venue rather than assuming it from the destination. Children, extra vehicles, marine activities and additional outings require a new quote.

Limits of these examples

Food uses Cebu City prices, not resort menus, so resort dining can cost more. Hotel meals, bedding and cancellation terms were not shown, and inclusions from older offers are not assumed. The tour's own meal is removed from the food budget, and its transport and tickets are not counted twice. Tour stops can change with opening hours and traffic; the car hire excludes hills and overtime. Boats, diving, Bohol and southern Cebu are not included.
